Heritage weekends 2020

SLEAFORD CASTLE EXHIBITION AT SLEAFORD MUSEUM

The Sleaford and District Civic Trust is mounting a pop-up exhibition at Sleaford Museum on the two Heritage Weekends this month, 12/13th and 19/20th September.

Visitors to the Museum can see the free exhibition which tells the full story of Sleaford Castle and also shows details of the latest research available. Members of the Civic Trust will be on hand to narrate the display and to explain the findings from the most recent archaeological investigations, which took place earlier this year.

A leaflet will be available to guide visitors from the Museum to the Castle site and will also explain some of the features of the site.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy the latest presentations and exhibits in the Museum, including our celebration of 5 years of operation.

The Museum will be open on both of the Saturdays of the Heritage Weekends (12 and 19 September) from 10am until 3pm, and also on both Sundays (13 and 20 September) from 11am until 3pm.  Admission is free, but donations are most welcome in support of the work of both the Civic Trust and Sleaford Museum.
