The Royal Air Force was formed on April 1st 1918 (RAF100 Day) from the amalgamation of the RFC (Royal Flying Corps) and the RNAS (Royal Naval Air Service) and this exhibition celebrated 100 years of the Service which is so important within the whole Lincolnshire area, and in Sleaford particularly, lying close to RAF College Cranwell.
